God's Grace Is Still Amazing Grace

We have so much for which to be thankful and praise the name of Jesus. Without the supreme sacrifice of our Lord and Savior, we would have no hope or way to the Father.   God the Father loved this world so much that He gave His only begotten Son for our sins.  Jesus came as a willing sacrifice in the fullness of time to lay down His life, that we might have eternal life.  Not only did He die in our place, but He arose in resurrection power  Because He lives, we too shall live eternally and can face each new tomorrow with hope in Him.

After the fall of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden,  God had a plan which would build a bridge back to Him for whosoever would walk in the love of Jesus and follow His path to salvation and  righteousness.   A bridge of love and forgiveness was given by our Lord.  He willingly came to earth to die on Calvary's old rugged cross in our place.   God's love reached from heaven above to fallen man below, as Jesus bridged the gap for fallen man on Calvary's cross.

A bridge of life and hope was given as our Great High Priest and Intercessor changed the way things were, and carried forth God's plan for how things were meant to be.  Jesus made a way of eternal life for us when there was no way. All one must do is repent of their sins, receive Jesus by faith in their lives, and follow Him in the way of the cross.   As one turns from their sins in repentance and humility, our Lord receives, forgives and souls are given new life.....born again, by a work of His Holy Spirit.  Old things pass away and behold, all things become new.  Sins are cast away into the sea of forgetfulness, as far as east is from west.

We give thanks that our Lord stood in the gap to make up the hedge for our souls.  He still intercedes for us today, according to the will of the Father. Crossing from the old life with sinful ways over into the way of the Lord, begins with the bridge of love and the finished work of Jesus.   We pass from death unto life when we walk in the way of the cross and receive His love and forgiveness.

We serve an Awesome God who is coming again one day for His children, and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Until that day, may we also stand in the gap and make up the hedge for lost souls as we pray and seek God's face.  Intercession is reaching up to God in behalf of fallen man in the distance between the way things are, and the way God wants them to be. Our prayer is for others to see the old rugged cross stained with the precious blood of Jesus is to be cherished.  His grace is the greatest gift of all.

May souls willingly cross the bridge of life and hope,  found only in Jesus Christ our Lord.   Prayer changes things and makes a difference in lives for all eternity.   There was a popular song in the 50's with words that said: "cross over the bridge.....cross over the bridge,  leave your reckless ways behind you, cross over the bridge."   This is what the Lord calls people to do each day to find God's true love, which will never fail or cease.  Only the bridge of God's love can see a person change from death unto life.  God's plan for man is the only plan which was sufficient to bring us back to the Father through His Son, Jesus Christ.

When one chooses to turn from sin and follow Christ, they have  the blessed assurance of a brand new life and hope.  There is still plenty of room for all at the foot of the cross of Calvary.   Our prayer is for souls to cross over and walk on the right side of life with all things made new by Jesus.  The bridge of love given us by our Savior will never fail.   It is on a firm foundation.  All other ground is sinking sand.  On Christ the Solid Rock we choose to forever stand.  Keep on serving the Lord and remember; as long  as you are walking with Jesus; you will never walk alone!  Great and mighty is the Lord our God. Great and mighty is He!  God's marvelous Grace is still amazing!

Blessings In Christ,
