A Psalm Of Praise
O, Lord of Heaven, be praised
For the wonder of Your glorious sky.
The brilliance of Your night sky is profound.
Your stars quietly following each orbit You planned.
I understand and, then, I praise you, Lord of Heaven,
For ordering my footsteps.
Wonderful Maker, be glorified
For the earth and its seasons ~
All designed by You.
You bring green to life, in Springtime.
Thirsty things are satisfied with Your showers.
The harvest is bounteous because of Your touch.
When the golden leaves fall and the earth is
Covered with white blankets,
You offer the Hope of Springtime again.
The song of the nightingales was taught by You.
The cooing doves, the whippoorwill, all know their Teacher.
All my days, all the seasons of my life,
I will extol Your praise.
Through the microscope or telescope,
Your wonders always amaze!
O, Great Lord, give me a special song,
To praise you with, each morning ~
A special lullaby at night.
Be glorified, some way, in my life.
As You look on the intent of my heart,
Pour Your oil and make it chaste and pure;
Worthy, by Your gifts ...
Worthy, by Your blood ...
Worthy to praise You ...
Worthy to live for You.
