Thank You Father for being there,
For sending Your guiding light.
Directing me thru the dark of night
Leading me to paths You share.
 
If I but learn to submit to Your will
In that I cannot fail.
So many times I go astray
Yet, You're there to show me the way.
 
Fill my heart with Your guiding light
Giving me perfect foresight.
Dreaming of being a heaven celebrity,
Leading me to paths of glory.
 
I've often stumbled in the darkness
In your Son I now have perfect sight.
I desperately need your guiding light
To show me the way to go.
