Quotes

God is magnanimous in mercy. He is generous in grace. He gives beyond anything you could ask or expect or hope for. Even now He invites you into His presence for worship and praise and fellowship.

What the Psalmist Is Saying

True worship centres on Jesus. It is not about us. It is about Him. It has always been about Him and nothing else. It is not about the arts, culture, tradition. It is not about style. It is not about musical preference. Worship is not even about music, period. It's not about anything but Him.

It's All About You, Jesus

When we're creative, God enjoys the labors of our hands. When we give of ourselves and our possessions, He applauds. When we're merciful, extending grace and forgiveness to those who have hurt us, He cheers. And when we do right, standing up for His will and way, He absolutely loves it!

What the Psalmist Is Saying

Oswald Chambers said that instead of contradicting God's presence, clouds are actually "a sign that He is there." They are "the dust of our Father's feet," he wrote. Now that's an image that makes me smile -- God kicking up dust as He strides across the skies! And the thought that we'll someday be soaring upward, blasting right through those "dust clouds" on our way to heaven, certainly brings laughter to my heart.

He's Gonna Toot

To know God is to love God. To love God is to serve God. To know Him better is to love Him more. To love Him more is to serve Him even more...as increasingly we line up with His unique plan and purpose for our lives.

My Heart's Cry

God is eternal, infinite, sovereign, omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, and immutable. In addition, He is perfect love, grace, patience and compassion. He's holy, righteous, just, and faithful. God is all of these things every day, all the time, and I count on it because it says so in the Bible, and I believe the Bible to be absolutely true.

I Married Adventure

I love to think of the preparations God is making for my homecoming one day. He knows the colors I love, the scenery I enjoy, the things that make me happy. All these personal details will let me know when I walk into My Father's House, that I am expected and welcome because He has prepared it for me! And in the same way, He is preparing a glorious homecoming for you!

Heaven: My Father's House

Worry makes you feel worthless, forgotten and unimportant. That's why Jesus says that we are worth much more than the birds of the air who neither worry nor die of hunger because their heavenly Father feeds them. They enjoy what's there. If God is able to sustain the lesser creatures, won't He sustain the greater?

Perfect Trust

It was Jesus' custom to rise before dawn and slip outdoors to pray. A hillside or lakeside was His favorite spot for teaching. (Matt. 13:1-2) A boat pushed out from the shore made a perfect pulpit. (Mark 4:1) We, too, need to slip away to be refreshed in the quietness and beauty of God's great outdoors.

Moments that Matter

A mother bird is a fascinating creature, capable of warm, careful concern, on the one hand, and fierce protective defense of her children, on the other. And in that illustration you can catch a glimpse of God's care for you. God covers you with His wings so you are warm and protected from the elements. You are able to grow as you should. All your needs are provided. And you can nest in His love.

Peter Wallace
What the Psalmist Is Saying

If the Lord has you on hold... hold on! If the Lord has said "NO" to you. thank Him! If the Lord is molding your heart and mind... go with His change! If the Lord opens doors that you have asked Him to open... Praise Him! Be blessed wherever you are in your life today! God has His hands on the situation!
