Facing The Wind
Today is a new day.
When I awoke this morning I prayed.
I looked above and in the sky I saw an Eagle.
He swooped down close
And with the whisper of the wind, He said,
"If you try you can fly!"
Now I belive all things are possible,
So without hesitation I tried.
I closed my eyes, balanced on one foot,
And opened my arms wide.
I felt the wind upon my face,
I felt the wind holding me in place,
I went up, I went down,
I flew in circles back to the ground.
I landed back on one foot, I had landed...
I had landed, that must mean I flew!
So if you close your eyes,
Feel the wind,
You will fly too my friend!
